Critical Success is building something new — a language school where the classroom is a fantasy world and the tutor is also your Game Master. We're looking for one person who shares that vision and wants to be part of the first cohort.
The Role
This is a hybrid position: part Game Master, part Danish tutor. You run tabletop roleplaying sessions where the game is the lesson. Your players are language learners. The adventure is the curriculum. Every encounter, every conversation, every dramatic choice is an opportunity for real Danish practice.
You don't need both language teaching AND TTRPG experience — one is enough. We're looking for creative people who can facilitate engaging sessions while helping students improve their Danish.
What We're Looking For
Language Teaching Experience
Teaching Danish as a foreign language, tutoring, or similar experience. You understand how people acquire languages and can create an encouraging environment where it's safe to sound wrong and try again.
TTRPG Experience
Deep experience running tabletop roleplaying games. You know how to create engaging narratives, manage group dynamics, and adapt on the fly when players surprise you — because they always do.
Native or Fluent Danish
You speak Danish fluently and can explain grammar, pronunciation, and idioms naturally during gameplay. When a student stumbles on a phrase, you can help them understand why — without breaking the story.
